A Time to Heal
by Beata Bishop
What you Will Need
Essential
We strongly recommend that before anyone embarks on the Therapy they read A Time to Heal by Beata Bishop. This compelling personal story reassures and encourages cancer patients to believe that they can make their own intelligent choices about their treatment. We feel it is also crucial for patients to sit down and watch the video Healing at Home which takes them through every single stage of a Gerson day, from washing vegetables to administering injections and enemas. Go to Materials for further recommended reading.
Organic Suppliers
We can provide you with a comprehensive list of organic suppliers in your area.
Juicer
The juices must be prepared using a special machine which grinds the fruit and vegetables into a pulp, which is then pressed in a hydraulic press. This method releases the maximum amount of vitamins and minerals, as well as safeguarding the essential enzymes. Juices need to be drunk immediately, as the enzymes begin to deteriorate rapidly within 20 minutes.
Water Distiller or Reverse Osmosis Equipment
All water used for cooking, peppermint tea, tooth-brushing and enemas must be either distilled or filtered by reverse osmosis equipment.
Loan of Equipment
Machines can sometimes be obtained on loan if patients cannot afford to buy them (contact the GSG telephone helpline on 01372 464 557).
Supplies
The digestive enzymes, supplements and vitamins as well as Enema kits can be obtained from Stephen Richards at Healing Naturally. He can be contacted via his website on: www.healingnaturally.co.uk or by telephone or fax on 0845 370 3123, where he is generally available to advise you between 9 - 1 pm Monday to Friday.
